Course review

Over the summer break I studied with teacher Pamela, then paused for a bit after the new semester started, and now I'm taking teacher Marie's lessons.

I've tried a conversation academy and also phone English,
and in the end, phone English helped me more than the conversation academy.
At the academy there are few chances to speak and one-on-one coaching is almost impossible
(you pretty much just end up chatting with all sorts of random partners),
whereas with phone English you absolutely have to talk for the full 30 minutes,
and the teacher corrects my sentences on the spot,
which has been a huge help in improving my skills.
And amazingly, my listening has gotten much better too!

Both teacher Pamela and teacher Marie are kind and skilled at running the lessons.
Pamela's pronunciation is so good it took me by surprise,
and Marie has her own kind of curriculum, a way of running the lesson,
so I get to learn new expressions and actually use them, which really seems to help my English improve.
She's very interested in Korean culture too, and talks about it, so the class atmosphere is enjoyable.
All the teachers are so dedicated that it motivates me to work hard too.

Keeping at it like this, I can feel for myself that the vocabulary and expressions I use have become more varied than when I first started phone English.
As I said, my listening improved too. (This is what's really amazing to me.)
CherryEnglish is also reasonably priced, so I've been recommending it to the people I know ^^

I'm always grateful!
