Review after taking the level test

First of all, it was fun. And since the teacher is Filipino, there was a slight issue with the pronunciation, but well, just being able to hold a conversation is enough to make it worth learning. (Actually, Skype kept cutting out on the audio, but that's the kind of thing that goes away if you go study on-site.)
But honestly, this teacher's level of knowledge isn't that great, so if we get into difficult subjects like the history of political thought, geography, biology, or metaphysics, it seems like the limits of their knowledge would show. The reason I felt that way is that up to now I've met tons of teachers, but they all invariably say those clichéd, empty-formality kinds of things—like asking why I don't go to school, or telling me to introduce myself—and I felt those were just so-so teachers. There haven't been many teachers I've liked so far, so this time I'd like to actually enjoy it. Actually, my mom says this teacher is really good at English, and that does seem to be true. But it seems like there's still a bit of that English pronunciation typical of people living in the Philippines or India, or of the locals there, and I wish they'd fix that.
