CherryEnglish review, part 1 (2nd month / 5 days a week, 30 min)

On a friend's recommendation, I started studying English after work as a bit of self-improvement.

Compared to other phone English services, I liked that the price was affordable.

Other companies had lots of activities that give points for various kinds of participation, but for me, as the options piled up, I saw that as a drawback that would keep me from focusing.

((It's an advantage for students or working people who need to go all-in on studying English, but for a worn-out office worker in their 30s with no energy left after work, I think it would become a mental burden.))

In the first free level test, teacher Marry asked about the purpose of my English study, and I told her I just wanted to give it a try and had no particular goal (though with my lacking English, I'm not sure it came across well hahaha.)

The lessons use 'Grammar in Use' as the textbook.

Normally, if you want English exams or free talking, they seem to tailor the lessons accordingly.

After the lesson, they write up an evaluation that corrects the sentences I got wrong and points out the accents in my pronunciation, helping me go back afterward and sort out which sentences were wrong and which were right.

Since I'm still only in my 2nd month and had no basic foundation, I'm not fluent yet, but over these two months I've felt the awkward, clunky pauses when reading sentences shrink a lot.
